Tanah Abang Market is Still Closed Until April 19th – The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government suddenly delayed the decision to reopen the Tanah Abang Market area.
Tanah Abang market has been temporarily closed since March 27, 2020 to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 corona virus. Initially, Tanah Abang will re-open to the public Monday (6/4) tomorrow.
However, Sunday (5/4/2020), Perumda Pasar Jaya said it would postpone the reopening on the grounds that the Covid-19 emergency response period in Jakarta was extended until April 19.
“We are delaying the reopening of Blok A’s Tanah Abang , Blok B’s Tanah Abang Market and Blok F’s Tanah Abang ,” said JAya Pasar Perumda President Director Arief Nasrudin, through written statements.
He said, only Blok G Pasar Tanah Abang was still open to the public. That is also limited, namely only food vendors who open outlets.
Arief said that the delay referred to the Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province No. 361 of 2020 concerning the Extension of the Status of the COVID-19 Disaster Emergency Response in the Province of DKI Jakarta.
“So, it has been decided that the planned opening on April 6 will be postponed temporarily until April 19. The Governor has also given a strict warning so that the Tanah Abang will remain closed. “The reopening will be further informed later,” he said. cara menang bandar ceme
Arief said, the central government had also issued Government Regulation No. 21 of 2020 concerning Large-Scale Social Restrictions in the Context of Accelerating the Management of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In Article 4 PP No. 21/2020, regulated markets that sell food types continue to operate normally in the context of meeting the basic needs of the population.
“The temporary closure of Tanah Abang has also been based on agreements between traders and market management. Traders have also agreed,” he said.
